Where confidence grows
What's happening
Students at Liceo Panamericano Centenario experience an IB Secondary Education that forms part of the International Baccalaureate continuum through the Middle Years Programme (MYP), where they develop interdisciplinary projects, strengthen critical thinking and apply their learning to real-life contexts.
International curriculum
Develop deeper reasoning, stronger argumentation and the practical application of knowledge through increasingly complex disciplines within the IB Continuum, while benefiting from a curriculum that combines national standards with an international perspective.
Skills for life
Build autonomy, responsibility and effective time management during a key stage of personal growth, while developing discipline, motivation, and academic and emotional maturity through the IB Approaches to Learning (ATL) and ISP Life Competencies.
Rigorous English learning
Strengthen English proficiency by building greater fluency, while preparing progressively for Cambridge certifications and using international assessments such as MAP to track meaningful progress in bilingual development.
Dedicated learning spaces
Discover science and technology labs, a library, specialised classrooms and collaborative learning environments that support hands-on experiences, strengthen academic performance and inspire creativity and confidence.
International opportunities
Join global ILOS programmes such as Model United Nations, Changemakers, Filmmakers and Chess Masters, where students connect with peers from different countries and broaden their cultural and academic perspective.
Leadership with purpose
Develop leadership through collaborative projects, student representation and training opportunities that strengthen critical thinking, communication skills and the confidence to take on meaningful responsibilities.
Easy admission process
Our welcoming admission process supports families through a transparent and student-centred journey, ensuring a positive transition and a strong start at this stage.
In Elementary & Middle School, children build the foundations for a lifetime of learning, curiosity and character, while developing the essential life skills that support both academic and personal growth.
Communication in real-life contexts
Students develop their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills through Language learning integrated into the Units of Inquiry, using texts connected to real and meaningful contexts.
Critical thinking and problem-solving
Students develop their understanding of numbers, operations, geometry and measurement through Mathematics learning connected to real situations within the Units of Inquiry. By applying their knowledge to authentic problem-solving, they build confidence and see how mathematics relates to the world around them.
Exploration of the natural world
Natural Sciences are developed through explorations and experiences that connect the phenomena of the natural world with other areas of learning. Students inquire about living beings, matter, energy, systems and the environment, relating them to significant questions in their units.
Understanding society
Students explore Natural Sciences through meaningful experiences and inquiry that connect the natural world with other areas of learning. As they investigate living things, matter, energy, systems and the environment, they relate their understanding to significant questions within their Units of Inquiry.
Living and learning in community
Learners develop a strong sense of responsibility, respect and citizenship through Civics Education integrated across all areas of learning. Guided by the values of the IB learner profile, they learn about rules, coexistence, peaceful conflict resolution and active participation in their communities.
Wellbeing and personal development
Students develop a balanced understanding of their physical, emotional and social well-being through PSPE, with learning that connects across all areas and helps them recognise how their choices influence their health and relationships.
Healthy movement and development
Students develop motor skills, coordination, teamwork and overall well-being through Physical Education. As they explore movement, body care, body expression and healthy habits, they make meaningful connections with their Units of Inquiry.
Values, character and spirituality
Students strengthen their values, spirituality and sense of coexistence through Christian Education, approached from a humanistic perspective grounded in love, solidarity and respect. They reflect on decisions, ethics and empathy in ways that connect meaningfully with their daily lives and the IB learner profile.
Learning with confidence and autonomy
Students strengthen their metacognitive skills by thinking about their own learning. Through reflection on the strategies, skills, attitudes and processes that support them, they become more aware of how they learn best within and beyond the Units of Inquiry.

In Elementary and Middle School, students progress through the IB Continuum with ongoing monitoring through MAP assessments from Grades 2 to 11. These assessments, administered twice a year, help us track progress closely and adapt learning to meet each student’s needs.
Our Learning.First™ approach supports visible academic growth through tailored strategies that strengthen knowledge, skills and understanding. Today, more than 86% of students achieve high-performance standards, reflecting the strength of their academic foundation.
Close collaboration between teachers and families ensures that every student moves forward with confidence, motivation and a clear sense of progress in their learning journey.
At these stages, students develop advanced skills through the IB Approaches to Learning (ATLs) and ISP Life Competencies, with a focus on critical thinking, self-management and collaboration.
Through projects, debates and hands-on experiences, they strengthen their ability to analyse, communicate effectively and solve problems in real-world contexts.
This approach helps students become more independent, adaptable and confident, preparing them for the demands of future academic and professional environments.
English learning is strengthened through personalised pathways and the Cambridge English programme, with around 80% of students progressing through their levels and achieving results above the global average.
From dynamic classrooms to dedicated language labs, students learn to use English in meaningful, real-world contexts through collaborative projects and inquiry-based learning.
This approach not only builds fluency, but also gives students the confidence to communicate, think and learn in an international environment.
From the early years, students begin engaging with an international environment through ISP International Learning Opportunities (ILOs), taking part in age-appropriate experiences that nurture curiosity, collaboration and the discovery of other cultures. As they progress in their education, they gain more active access to programmes such as Model United Nations, Changemakers and Filmmakers, where they collaborate with students from different countries on real-world projects.
Many of our students take part in these initiatives, progressively developing key skills such as global thinking, leadership and teamwork in international contexts. These experiences not only enrich their learning, but also broaden their perspective and prepare them to navigate an increasingly interconnected world with confidence and discernment.
Being part of a community that promotes academic excellence and growth for every student is truly inspiring.
